Karen Lawson, MD, DABIHM, NBC-HWC
Karen Lawson, MD, DABIHM, NBC-HWC, is the founder and CEO of IHWC Productions, a consulting company that works with programs and individuals to advance and expand training in Integrative Health Coaching and Holistic Healthcare, and she provides virtual Health Empowerment Services to individuals directly. She served as the founder and Director of Integrative Health Coaching at the University of Minnesota from 2005-2022. She is a physician, board-certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine and a founding board member of the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching (www.nbhwc.org ). Karen is a life-long dancer, has had a yoga practice for over 30-years. She loves to work with individuals who are ready to take control of their own health beliefs and behaviors, and to be in charge of their healthcare experience.

Hillary Gokey, EdD
Hillary Gokey brings a lifelong commitment to education, psychology, and student advocacy to the board. After earning her master’s degree, Hillary began her career as a school counselor, where she discovered her deep passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges. She currently serves as a Professor of Psychology at Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where she is known for her dedication to student success both inside and outside the classroom.
Committed to lifelong learning, Hillary returned to school to pursue a Doctorate in Education, continuously seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge in order to improve her teaching and better serve her students. She also mentors the Psychology Club, providing guidance, encouragement, and real-world insight to students exploring careers in mental health.
Hillary is passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds navigate diverse life circumstances. She strongly believes in the power of motivation, validation, and access to mental health support. Her professional experience and advocacy align closely with the nonprofit’s mission to increase access to therapy for those who might otherwise be unable to afford it.

Myeida Beasley, MA, LPCC
Myeada Beasley, MA, LPCC. Myeida is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor specializing with working with children, teens and adults with big emotions, anxiety and trauma. One of her specialties is working with people with Neurodiversity (ADHD, Autism, or people somewhere on the spectrum). She is such an asset for people who want to learn how to work with their own brain, even when it is a little scattered or wild at times. Myeida obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Sociology at Alverno University her Master of Arts in Community Counseling at Argosy College. And, she is currently completing her Doctoral degree in Child and Adolescent Development Psychology at Argosy University. She carries certifications in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mad2Glad Parenting Coaching and the Safe and Sound Protocol.

Dr. Erik Reis DC, DACNB, CBIS
Dr. Erik Reis is a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine and Board-Certified Chiropractic Neurologist at The Neural Connection in Minneapolis, MN, USA. He received his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Northwestern Health Sciences University, graduating with magna cum laude honors, and graduated from the University of Minnesota with his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology/Exercise Science.
Dr. Reis holds a Diplomate in Neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and specializes in the neurological, orthopedic, and nutritional rehabilitation of traumatic brain injuries, concussions, and vestibular disorders with his extensive training through the Carrick Institute of Clinical Neuroscience. He is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist through the American Brain Injury Alliance and has been a clinical educator with Erchonia, a medical therapeutic laser company, after working extensively with their world-class medical technologies for nearly a decade.
He is the founder of The Neural Connection, a clinic that primarily focuses on treating complex neurological and orthopedic disorders that range from traumatic brain injuries, dysautonomia/POTS, sport-related concussions, dizziness disorders, complex pain syndromes, headaches/migraines, and chronic autoimmune conditions. The clinic focuses on individualized neurological rehabilitation protocols to increase function through sensorimotor training, neuro-orthopedic exercises, and personalized nutritional protocols.
Dr. Reis believes the connection between neurological function and nutritional status is essential to understanding how to fully maximize brain function, which is why he takes a multifaceted approach to improving his patients’ brain health and wellness.
Dr. Reis is also the Director of Health and Wellness, Co-Founder at Nobody Studios, a high-velocity venture studio focused on the radical ideation, innovation, and creation of people-first start-up companies.

Jennifer Ann Clark experienced trainer, consultant, and tenured psychology faculty
Jennifer Ann Clark is an experienced trainer, consultant, and tenured psychology faculty member with more than 20 years of experience in higher education, leadership development, and professional training. She currently works with Norman & Associates and has spent two decades as a tenured faculty member in the Psychology Department at
Anoka-Ramsey Community College, where she is widely recognized for teaching excellence and student-centered learning.
Jennifer brings deep expertise in leadership development, career development, and organizational training across diverse sectors, including higher education, government, construction, healthcare, manufacturing, telecommunications, food, and logistics. Her client experience includes leadership training for higher education administrators through
Academic Impressions and leadership and career development work with organizations such as J&B Group.
With academic training in psychology, communications, and counseling psychology, Jennifer integrates evidence-based learning theory with practical, real-world application. Her facilitation style is high-energy, interactive, and grounded in active learning strategies
that empower learners to take ownership of their development. She is particularly passionate about helping individuals understand their learning styles and leverage that knowledge for professional and academic success.
Jennifer’s work has been recognized through multiple nominations for the Anoka-Ramsey Community College Board of Trustees Teaching Award for Excellence, the Silver Chalk Award for Teaching, and the Academic All-Star Award. She has presented at the Scholars of Teaching and Learning Conference and has been published in the SHRM Journal on the topic of generational conflict.

Tammy Pulver, EdS
Director of Special Education: Tribal & Charter Schools
Tammy has worked in Tribal and Charter Schools in Minnesota for more than 25 years serving students with disabilities as a volunteer, para, teacher, and administrator. Tammy has enhanced her expertise by becoming licensed in Emotional Behavior Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, PreK-12 Principal and Special Ed Director with an EdS in Educational Leadership. In addition, she is certified in Traumatic Stress Studies: through the Trauma Research Foundation (Bessel van der Kolk) and in Safety, Connection & the Human Experience with the Polyvagal Institute (Stephen Porges), as well as Book Study with authors of Sensory Pathways to Healing from Trauma (Ruth Lanius).

Corey Busch, MA : Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Corey has been in the mental health field for over ten years, working mostly in outpatient clinical settings. His first career was teaching middle and high school. He has kept his love for teaching, and currently teaches in a master’s program for clinical counseling at Naropa University. He has also taught community mental health workshops to classroom teachers, parents, and to community members interested in the connection between spirituality and mental health. Corey’s clinical passion is Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the integration of spirituality in helping clients in their healing journey. He has a regular spiritual practice, and enjoys mentoring others in their spiritual journeys. He lives and works in Minneapolis, MN with his wife and three children. He enjoys playing board games, ultimate frisbee, and walking alone in the woods.
